This paper analyzes the changes in the spatial distribution of major agricultural products in China from the perspective of regional specialization and geographic concentration. The study finds that regional division of Chinas agricultural production gradually shows a tendency of regional specialization and cluster development. However, such regional specialization and cluster development are still at a low level and do not step forward in parallel. With the deepening process of economic globalization and trade liberalization, the spatial distribution of agricultural production should be further optimized to fully exploit the comparative advantage, while agricultural regional specialization and cluster development should be strengthened to promote economic restructuring and realize the transformation of development mode in agricultural industry.
