a polymer based on 2,5-dihydroxy-1,4-benzoquinone monomer units,poly(2,5-dihydroxy-1,4-benzoquinone-3,6-methylene)(PDBM),is proposed as the anode material for aqueous rechargeable mixed-ion battery(ARMB),which is based on a quinone–alkoxide redox mechanism beyond the intercalation chemistry.Comparing with other kinds of quinone polymers such as polyimide,PDBM has not only the same merits,but also the lower cost and simpler synthesis route.
