A small molecules library with structure diversity was constructed through diversity-oriented synthesis (DOS) strategy.1 Seven novel scaffolds were quickly synthesized through transition metal catalyzed tandem reaction from readily acceptable substrates and to overcome the shortcomings of combinatorial chemistry the skeletal diversity was especially emphasized.
