This study highlights the synthesis of asymmetric Schiff base Zn(Ⅱ) complex,Zn2(L1)(L2)(en),which can be efficiently engendered by Watson-Crick base-pairing method to bring reagents in close enough. The products were purified and separated useing gelelectrophoresis method, and characteried by UV-vis spectra and mass spectra. The fluorescence studies indicate that the asymmetric Zn (Ⅱ) Schiff-base complex exhibits strong ligand-centered fluorescence at room temperature in the liquid state which might provide a new route to prepare novel fluorescent photo switching using Schiff-base complex.
