Cancer represents an enormous biomedical challenge for drug delivery.Despitedecades of research,effectiveness of cancer chemotherapy is still hampered by thelack of appropriate mechanisms to deliver anticancer drugs selectively to tumortissues.This is a challenging task,as various cellular,anatomical and physiologicalbarriers impede effective delivery of drugs to tumors.
