In this work, a series of Al(PO3)3-Mg(PO3)2-(Ba, Ca, Mg, Sr)F2 fluorophosphate glass was prepared with different cation concentrations i.e.fluoride.Recently the trend of studying fluorophosphate glasses has been increased since these materials have high durability, longer life time and laser emission at infrared region and therefore can be applied to lasers, optical fibers, waveguide lasers and optical amplifiers 1-3).
