Objective This purpose of this study is to evaluate changes in left ventricular function after coronary microembolization(CME) and the effect of methylprednisolone (MTP).Methods Twenty-six mini swines were studied.First group (n=3), 50 000 microspheres were injected into left anterior descending artery (LAD).Second group (n=9), 120 000 microspheres were injected into LAD.Third group (n=5),150000 microspheres were injected into LAD.Fourth group (n=7), 120 000 microspheres were injected into LAD; 30minutes before the animal preparation in the fourth group, 30 mg/kg MTP in 10 ml 0.9% NaCl solution was injected intravenously.CeMRI of all the swines were performed at baseline, 6th hour and one week later.
