In the post-genomic era, it is known that high speed digestion, high efficient separation, high sensitive characterization, high automated systems and high throughput analysis are urgently required for proteome study.Therefore, more and more attention has been paid to the immobilized enzyme reactors, which have advantages such as fast digestion speed, the absence of the enzyme autodigestion and ease for hyphenation with separation and detection systems compared with traditional in-solution enzymatic digestion.
