Many form-finding methods have been developed to achieve the stiffest shape of skeletal spatial structures while under most conditions only constant forces were considered during the structural evolution process. However, the loadings that applied onto practical structures may not be constant, contradictorily it could be dependent on the structural shape, that is to say,it may vary along with the change of the structural shape, such us live loads and snow loads acting on the reticulated shell structures. Therefore, for shape optimization of reticulated shell structures, taking the design-dependent feature of loadings into consideration is of crucial meaning.
