The design, modeling, control and simulation of Undermanned Unmanned Vehicles (UUVs) is a relatively new research field.Fossen[1] described the conception of the guidance and control methods for the oceanic vehicles.In 1996, the US Navys Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) conceived the Manta Test Vehicle (MTV), the first reconfigurable prototype for an 《 UUV》 developed for different missions such as the surveillance, tactical oceanography, mining, etc.Menozzi et Gagliardi[2] described the non-linear dynamic model of the MTV, as well as the initial design of the automatic pilot.Kim et al.[2].conceived an experimental 《AUV》called 《SNUUVI》 (Seoul National University Underwater Vehicle I).The dynamic model of this 《AUV》 was conceived using the hydrodynamic coefficients, estimated with extended Kalman filter and the potential flow code.
