　　Grapevine leafroll-associated virus-3 (GLRaV-3) is a causal agent of grapevine leafroll disease (GLD),present in grape growing areas of the world.Reverse transcription-PCR (RT-PCR) and reverse transcription-nested PCR (RT-nPCR) were used to detect GLRaV-3 in 75 samples collected from three regions of China.RT-nPCR was found to be more effective and sensitive method in detecting GLRaV-3.Complete coat protein (CP) gene sequences from 35 isolates were used to study genetic diversity.
