Energy efficiency optimization of wireless systems has attracted increasing attention recently due to its beneficial impacts on the environment and operational costs.More recently,energy efficient communication in multicell scenarios has drawn increasing attention.Max-min user energy efficient precoding for multicell MIMO cooperative networks is investigated.A non-convex fractional programming optimization problem is formulated and an iterative fairness energy efficient algorithm is proposed with proved convergence.Numerical results shows that the proposed max-min energy efficiency algorithm can improve energy efficiency with a performance loss in terms of the sum rate at high SNR compared to the maxmin user rate algorithm and the extensively-studied interference alignment algorithm.
