The pulse current was applied to the recrystallization of GH4169 alloy. The recrystallization onset temperature and the recrystallization activation energy of 54% cold deformed alloy under pulsed current were investigated. The influence of pulse current on the recrystallization mechanism of the alloy was analyzed. The results show that the pulse current significantly reduces the initial recrystallization temperature of the alloy, and the decreasing amplitude increases with the increase of current frequency, density and pulse width. Impulse current affects the recrystallization mechanism of the two-phase alloy by influencing the precipitation of δ phase and the nucleation and growth of recrystallized grains.
