Background,Motivation and Objective Recently, functional ultrasound (fUS) has been introduced as a powerful method to image intrinsic connectivity in the living rat brain through a thinned-skull window (Osmanski et al 2014). Resting state functional connectivity is of great medical interest since it is affected by neurological and psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s disease, or depression.
