The electronic and optical properties of BiFeO3 (BFO) crystal are investigated at 300 K and 1000 K, via density functional theory (DFT).The relative crystal surfaces include (001), (101) and (111).As the results shown of calculated spin-partial density of states (PDOS), the temperature influences the polarizations of BiFeO3 crystal.These are related to the electronic and optical properties.Therein, at 300 K, BFO has the highest optical property on (001), and on (111) at 1000 K.The reasons of the electronic property and optical spectrum were discussed.
