The root knot nematodes are worldwide important plant pathogens.It has been arousing universal attention as they are one of the major diseases of tomato, and the dominant species is Meloidogyne incognita in greenhouse of northern China.Biological control has become a new method of disease prevention.Since induced systemic resistance (ISR) has long-lasting and broad spectrum resistance, this phenomenon can be used to control plant diseases, particularly in integrated pest management strategies.
