In order to obtain effective antagonistic actinomycetes against Verticillium dahliae in Xinjiang.In this experiment, 761 strains of actinomycetes were isolated from 37 soil samples collected from Shihezi, Kuitun, Fukang, Kuerle, Changji, Manasi, Akesu in various cotton field of Xinjiang by using the plate dilution method.The 101 strains of actinomycetes were screened out, which had obvious antimicrobial action against Verticillium dahliae through indoor plate confrontation screening.Among them, 5 antibiotic actinomyces stains had a strong inhibitory activity against V.dahliae, the inhibition zone diameter ≥ 17mm, which TD3-2-1, inhibitory zone diameter was 20.07mm, and antagonistic test results showed that the bacteriostatic rate of TD3-2-1 filtrate on the mycelial growth of V.dahliae was 58.5%.The seed germination experiments showed that the strain TD3-2-1 had a significant growth-promoting effect on seeds of cotton.Based on its morphological, cultural characterist ics, general physiological and biochemical properties and analysis of the 16S rDNA, TD3-2-1 was identified as Streptomyces sp..TD3-2-1 has potentiality to develop into biocontrol of cotton verticillium wilt caused by V.dahliae.
