This paper focuses on the networked vibration control of jacket-type offshore platforms with random control delay.The main forces acting on the offshore structure are wave and current loads, and the effect of current on wave is considered in the model of outside forces.And networked control systems (NCSs) is more flexible than conditional vibration control for offshore platform.At the same time, random time delay is existent and inevitable in the control process.The paper presents a two-buffer networked dynamical control system model and solve the problem of random time delay under outside loads.By model transmission, we obtain a system with no delay.Based on the transformed model, a networked feedforward and feedback optimal controller with memory is developed in the paper.The irregular wave and current forces and past system states of offshore structure are stored and included in control process.To demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of designed control law, a numerical example of jacket-type offshore structure is presented.Simulation results show that the presented controller can depress the vibration of the offshore platform with high efficiency.
