With high sensitivity and specificity,extensive molecular coverage,relative quantification and structural identification,MS has now become an important tool for single-cell proteomics and metabolomics research.[1] Neuron are the basis of memory and thought,and are sensitive to changes in the environment.In order to study the metabolic changes of neuron under normal growth environment,we developed a microgel droplet based electrospray mass spectrometry analysis method to ensure the normal physiological state of the cells before entering the mass spectrometry.In this experiment,mouse brain neurons were taken as the analysis object,and the micro gel spheres electrospray mass spectrometry method was used as the technical means.Sodium alginate gel was used to package the samples [2].Components including common amino acids in neuron were detected by ESI ion source mass spectrometry.This method has the advantages of high salt tolerance,fast speed and low background,and provides a reliable means to ensure the activity of cells before mass spectrometry detection.
