Background Myocardial bridge (MB) is a common finding during selective coronary angiography.So far,the clinical significance of MB is controversial.In general,MB is regarded as a benign process.However,the fact that there is an increasing trend of case reports in which MB has been associated with myocardial infarction,depressed LV function,arrhythmias or sudden death,strengthens the notion that MB is an important but yet unresolved clinical issue.
