Automotive catalytic converter is an assembly to effectively reduce the poisonous emissions from internal combustion engines.The performance of the catalytic converter is directly related to flow distribution characteristics of converter, the geometric surface area (GSA) of the channel and precious metal (PM) loading, etc.[1] Optimizing the flow distribution and improving the conversion efficiency are the focuses of this research.
