Skyrmions are topological solitions,first proposed to explain the existence of protons and neutrons in high energy physics [1] and two dimensional structures have been studied in a wide range of condensed matter system.In the first part of this talk,I would introduce two-dimensional Skyrmion in an anti-ferromagnetic spinor Bose-Einstein condensate [2].We create the topological structure by manipulating local spin tilting angle with magnetic field sweep and observe the spin texture dynamics under a constant magnetic field.The spin texture is only stable in few tens of ms and decays into uniform spin texture within a second.Another interesting property of the Skyrmion spin texture is the emergent electromagnetic field.Because of the non-coplanar spin configuration of the spin texture,it can generate gauge potential to a spin carrying particles [3].In the second part of the presentation,we introduce geometric Hall effect in a spinor Bose-Einstein condensate with the Skyrmion spin texture [4].Under linear oscillations of the spin texture,a condensate dipole motion resonantly develops into a circular motion in the harmonic trap,demonstrating the existence of an effective Lorentz force.
