The Arkray Adams A1c HA-8180T analyzer is relatively new HPLC based hemoglobin (Hb) analyzer designated for both Hb A1c testing and Hb typing using reverse-phase cation exchange chromatography.We examined the feasibility of this analyzer for diagnosis of thalassemias commonly found in Southeast Asian population in a total of 557 adult subjects.
