The application of PCMs in buildings can obviously reduce building energy consumption and meet human comfort demands simultaneously.It is important to choose proper phase change materials in architectural design which depends on a reasonable material selection method.PCMs' thermophysical properties are variable and latent heat can affect PCM walls' heat transfer characteristics, unlike normal walls' heat transfer process, which leads to the difficulty of evaluating walls' characteristics and choosing property building materials.
