Micrositing is the core content of project design for wind farm,particularly those with canyon or complex terrain.In this paper the wind energy resource characteristics,such as wind speed correlation,wind shear,and turbulence intensity,is studied for canyon wind farm.The process and method of micrositing is proposed and restriction factors of WTGS layout are analyzed and the recommended distance between the position of WTGS and affected objects is given.The availability and feasibility of the design method for canyon wind farm micrositing is proved by the project case,and the method and experience provide reference value for the micrositing design of similar wind farm.
