　　Background: The alteration of myocyte autophagy and its role in left ventricular(LV)remodeling after myocardial infarction(MI)have not been fully understood.In this study,we investigated the temporal changes of myocyte autophagy in the remote noninfarcted myocardium after MI and the relationships between alterations of myocyte autophagy,myocyte apoptosis and LV remodeling.
