A novel method for the sensing of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity and inhibitor screening based on the formation of metal coordination polymer has been developed.Acetylthiocholine (ATCh) was selected as the substrate.In the presence of AChE,ATCh was hydrolyzed to thiocholine and acetate.
