THE EFFECT OF DIFFERENT ENZYME SYSTEMS IN T-2 TOXIN METABOLISM IN VITRO

  T-2 toxin poses a serious threat to human health because it has the most toxicity in presented tens of trichothecenes mycotoxins.To explore the metabolic mechanism of T-2 toxin,this paper investigates the effect of different enzyme systems on the in vitro metabolism of T-2 toxin.The results showed that multiple cytochrome P450 (CYP) isoenzymes were involved in T-2 toxin metabolism,including CYP3A4,CYP2E1,CYPIA2,CYP2C9,CYP286,CYP2D6 and CYP2C19.CYP3A4 isoenzyme was the predominant enzyme contributing to T-2 toxin metabolism and the major products were the hydroxylation products.Liver microsomal esterase played an important role for T-2 toxin in liver metabolism,and the predominant product was HT-2toxin.Two enzyme systems played different roles in T-2 toxin metabolism in vitro.This work provides experimental data and scientific evidence for T-2 toxin metabolic mechanism,further serving for the safety evaluation and health risk assessment.
