A series of tridentate XNN ligands(X=P,S,O)were prepared and coordinated to cobalt metal to afford the corresponding complexes (Fig.1 and Fig.2).Their polymerization behavior towards isoprene were investigated.Living nature of the active species generated by all complexes in combination with AlEt2Cl was found (Fig.3).
