Nonlinear dispersive wave equations have applications in various fields,such as quantum mechanics,nonlinear optics,fluid dynamics,electromagnetic theory and so on.This mini-symposium focuses on both theoretical and numerical studies on various nonlinear dispersive wave equations.The topics include,but not limited to,existence of traveling wave solutions,orbital stability of solitary waves,numerical algorithms to solve nonlinear wave equations,and numerical computations.
