　　In this work,the dynamic failure of rock under ultra-high loading rate is studied through a detailed numerical investigation of the gas gun experimental data on rock.To take account of the impact process during the test,a 3D dynamic computational model is built by using the Distinct Lattice Spring Model(DLSM).
