We report a facile synthesis of double-shelled polymer nanocontainers with a hollow cavity,crosslinked shell and polyethylene glycol (PEG) brush on the surface.Initially,well-defined SiO2@poly(PMA-co-MAA-co-EGDMA)-click-PEG core-double shell nanospheres were synthesized via a combined distillation precipitation polymerization and thiol-ynesurface modification.
