Objective ceria engineered nanomaterials(ENMs)have utility in the treatment of neurodegenerative disorders by reducing reactive oxygen species(ROS)(1,2).However,as it is known that insoluble nanomaterials are not readily eliminated and long term and delayed effects of nanoceria have not been very well studied. The objectives of the present research were to ascertain the effect of ENM size on the longer term fate and toxicology effects of the 4 sizes of citratE-coated ceria ENMs into selected organs, including the brain up to 30 days(720 h)after a single iv ceria ENM infusion.
