External Ultrasound-Assisted Liposuction:Therapeutic Evaluation and Complications Prevention

　　Objective: A retrospective study was undertaken to evaluate the efficacy of External UltrasoundAssisted Liposuction(EUAL), and to summarize the relevant principles, experiences and complications prevention.Methods: Local tumescent anesthesia, epidural anesthesia and general anesthesia were used in EUAL for 2500 cases on 2000 patients respectively.Safety and clinical effects of EUAL were evaluated.The complications were analyzed with a follow-up study for three to six months.The rules of circumference variation in different body areas after liposuction were summarized.
