In this paper, a simple and low cost method for making large and complex shape mold for vacuum assisted resin transfer molding processes is presented.Only some ordinary materials are required in this method.An idea of constructing three-dimensional mold through two-dimensional structures is proposed to make the skeleton of a mold.Putty is then painted on the skeleton to get a smooth, hard and strong surface.
