The extraction and separation of copper and nickel in ammoniacal chloride media were studied using the mixtures of LIX84I and basic extractants (Cyphos IL 101 or TOA) as extractant.The different concentration ratios of LIX84I and basic extractants, aqueous pH values, concentrations of total ammonia and chloride in aqueous phase were examined to evaluate the extraction and separation efficiency of Cu(Ⅱ) and Ni(Ⅱ).
