In the conventional control system of regulating valve, an industrial control computer is used to realize pressure regulation.This kind of control system has the merit of low cost, at the same time, has the shortcoming of bad reliability, and is suit for the facility where regulating valves are distributed in a small region.Now, in the large-scale ground simulation facility, there exist a large number of regulating valves with high-reliability requirements distributed in a broad area, so the conventional control system of regulating valve is not satisfactory for the requirements.To solve this problem, a control system of regulating valve based on real time controller in distribution net is presented in this paper.In the new control system, the real-time controller as the core of the system is place in the site of regulating valve, with the download control program and parameters in it to realize the real-time pressure regulation, which can improve the reliability of the control system;high-speed industrial in-site bus net is adapted to connect the distributed real-time controllers into a network to quickly transfer data, which offers an answer for the distributed regulating valves in a broad area.The new control system has been successfully used in large scale wind tunnel and engine testing facility, which not only reduces the amount of system construction,but also improves the reliability and maintenance of the control system.
