Autophagy is an intrinsic cellular process that can degrade the cytoplasmic components.It has been reported a number of invaliding pathogens including viruses hijack this process to facilitate their replication.Coxsackieviurs B3 (CVB3),a member of picomavirus,has been shown to induce the autophagy upon infection,but characterization of CVB3-induced autophagy in detail is of debate.
