Today, the investigation of diluted magnetic semiconductors has attracted a significant attention.ZnO has been intensively studied because of its potential as room temperature ferromagnet.Our research work has been concentrated on the ZnO doped with non-magnetic elements.Room temperature ferromagnetism has been discovered in C-doped ZnO and the ferromagnetism has been confirmed in first-principles calculations.More recently, ferromagnetism has been obtained by doping with several non-magnetic elements, including Cu and Al.It has been found that the preparation condition plays a determined role.
