Aspergillus nidulans shows various morphological changes during development such as asexual and sexual cycle.The veA gene is known to control the sexual/asexual balance in response to light as well as the secondary metabolism.For a global analysis of development-specific proteins, we investigated the changes in protein expression profiles using total protein extracts from the wild type and △veA culture at the several time points, where the morphological changes are relevant to specific developmental stages.
