  We present an approach for the optimization of the microstructure of a material,in order to minimize its compliance.The current microstructure is modelled as a macroscopic deformation,to be optimized upon,of a reference periodic microstructure.In this talk,we describe the approach and show how to use reduced order models to keep the computational load limited.
