The primary goal of this study is to investigate how multiple roles and the role of caregiver are associated with mental health of middle-aged adults in Korea and the United States.In particular,by analyzing nationally representative samples from each country,this study examined to what extent the psychological consequencespositive and negative affect-of involving in multiple roles and being a caregiver varied between the two countries of different cultural backgrounds.
