Purpose To determine how physicians management decisions are affected by the results of brain CT perfusion (CTP) imaging.Materials and Methods From August, 2014 to March, 2016, 43 in-patients with neurological symptoms were randomly selected from neurology ward. All of these patients performed whole brain CTP on a multi-slice CT (GE HD750).Two radiologists read the CTP images.31 patients who received neurological treatment were included in this study.Treatment data was collected on electronic patient record system by an experienced resident working in neurology department.Primary measures were drug dose amount, including drugs for antiplatelet, neurothophy, improving microcirculation and enhancing cerebral function.Secondary measures addressed alternative diagnosis or treatment.During treatment, neurologists and radiologists were double-blinded.The drug dose amount between pre- and post-CTP was compared.Regression analysis was used to identify association between measures and CTP.
