Ionization of molecular nitrogen plays important role in formation of light filaments in air.In the present work we investigated tunneling ionization of valence 3σg and 1πu shells of a N2 molecule by a strong NIR laser field.These orbitals have close energies.The theory of anti-Stokes-enhanced tunneling ionization that was proposed by authors in Ref.
