　　A damping system consisted of turret viscoelastic damper was developed for use on a payload rack in spacecraft to reduce excessive acceleration and displacement response levels during launch.The turret viscoelastic damper assembly consists of base and cover into which are viscoelastic damping layer to metal bonded flexible units sandwiched in an angular disposition.
