To investigate preventively protective effects of 3-n-butylphthalide (NBP) pretreatment on cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury (CIRI) in rats.36 male SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation group(n=12), CIRI group(n=12) and NBP pretreatment group(n=12), the permeability of blood brain barrier(BBB) was evaluated based on the leakage of Evans blue, The expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 was measured by Real time PCR.
