Research on the Effective Classification-Charateristics-Extraction Method of Sugarcane Buds

  At present, sugarcane mechanized planting equipment doesn't have the function of integrity monitoring of buds, which can't ensure sprouting rate of the the new planted sugarcane,this paper presents a kind of method of effective classification charateristic extraction of buds,which can provide reference for the integrity of classification or detection of the buds.The method consists of two steps.Firstly, utilizing Candy operators and Hough transform to extract information of the edge line, according to the geometrical relationship among the y coordinate of the edge in the entire image, x coordinate of the stem node and the distance between sugarcane internode and the center position of bud, the regional center coordinate of buds could be calculated and determined in the whole image,and then the bud's effective area could be cut out exactly.Secondly,taking the effective region of buds as researching object, and then Max、 Min、 Mean、 Median and Std of grayscale which contained significant differences were identified as effective classifications to establish database of sugarcane buds.The experiment on the integrity checking of sugarcane buds shows that the acquisition of effective region of buds and grayscale eigenvalues as stated before can effectively improve the accuracy of buds' integrity detection.
