Sustainability is an increasingly important aspect of architectural design,and comparisons of the environmental impact of construction materials have become common.Stainless steels are used for roofs,facades and other exterior applications because of their excellent longevity,high recycled content,contribution to building energy reduction,and aesthetics.This paper will describe the importance of using the Stainless Steel Evaluation System to avoid atmospheric corrosion and achieve sustainable long lasting structural and aesthetic designs.
