In recent decades,various kinds of nanomaterials have been widely investigated as potential therapeutic agents for cancer treatment.In particular,mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSN) with high specific surface area,nontoxic nature,and adjustable pore size have received considerable attention for drug release applications.For efficient cancer treatments,surface modification of MSN has been proposed as an alternative approach to enhance efficiency of MSN-based carrier[1].
