  Piezoelectric materials that put less environmental load have attracted considerable attention.Poly-L-lactide-acid (PLLA) is biodegradable and carbon-neutral.In addition,it suits the human-machine interfaces and biomedical engineering applications because it doesnt exhibit pyroelectric effects nor need poling processes[1].Until now,the properties of PLLA have been often studied experimentally and numerically[2],but theoretical studies have been hardly done.Therefore,some of the present authors analyzed the problem of the infinite column with D∞ symmetry theoretically[3].The study was supposed to be used for a sensor.But electroelastic field analysis ofactuators are also necessary.The experiments of such actuators have been performed often for bending motion[4],but we were not able to find the study for torsional motion.The tip of the actuator is able to move more three-dimensionally if it has both bending mobility and torsion mobility.In this paper,therefore,we analyze the electroelastic field in an actuator which has torsional mobility.
